Minimum requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldECSA accreditation is essentialProven experience in electrical design, contracting, and solar design for commercial and industrialsystems and smaller systems (ON Grid, Off Grid, Hybrid)Sound knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, and codesProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design softwareExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creativelyAttention to detail and the ability to work independentlyAbility to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectivelyWillingness to travel to different sites and work flexible hours as requiredUnderstanding and knowledge of HVAC in a construction environment.Roles and Responsibilities :Designing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including lighting, power systems, low current systems, solar design, and contractingOverseeing the implementation of electrical systems, including supervising contractors and ensuringcompliance with all relevant regulations and standardsTendering for electrical works, including preparing bids and proposals, negotiating contracts, andmanaging budgetsProviding technical support and advice to other departments and clientsConducting research and staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field ofelectrical engineeringCollaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop innovative solutions and improveexisting systemsConducting site visits and inspections to ensure that electrical systems are operating efficiently and safelyProviding training and guidance to junior engineers and techniciansBudgeting and financial controlCreation of Operation and Maintenance manuals.Obtaining and processing equipment submission, obtain approval from consultants.Submission of construction drawings to consultants for approval.Reporting to the Director/Management on engineering activitiesSalary offer: Negotiable
