We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client's team and drive our operations to the next level. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering department, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management. Responsibilities: Manage the engineering function of a large, 24/7 fresh food site based in Kempton Park Be the GMR 2.1 for the site Lead a team of approximately 20 including foremen, electricians, fitters, millwrights, a storeman and maintenance buyer Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules Respond timeously and urgently to breakdowns of critical equipment Liaise with and manage various service providers and ensure adherence to SLAs Control a significant engineering budget and ensure value for money is achieved Requirements Qualified engineer with at least 5 years experience in a managerial capacity Must hold a Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) factories and therefore be eligible to be a GMR 2.1.
