We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client's team and drive our operations to the next level.As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering department, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.Responsibilities:Manage the engineering function of a large, 24/7 fresh food site based in Kempton ParkBe the GMR 2.1 for the siteLead a team of approximately 20 including foremen, electricians, fitters, millwrights, a storeman and maintenance buyerDevelop and maintain preventative maintenance schedulesRespond timeously and urgently to breakdowns of critical equipmentLiaise with and manage various service providers and ensure adherence to SLAsControl a significant engineering budget and ensure value for money is achievedRequirementsQualified engineer with at least 5 years experience in a managerial capacityMust hold a Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) factories and therefore be eligible to be a GMR 2.1.
