The Senior Credit Controller will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing customer accounts, recommending credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control and a proven track record in reducing bad debts and improving cash flow.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:1. Monitor and analyze customer accounts to identify potential credit risks2. Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers3. Establish and recommend credit limits based on customer payment history and financial status4. Chase overdue invoices and escalate collection efforts as necessary5. Negotiate payment plans with customers to help resolve outstanding debts6. Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date credit control reports7. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues8. Review and approve credit applications in accordance with company policies9. Provide guidance and training to junior credit control staff10.
