Well established company based in Kariega are looking for an Business Unit Controller to join their dynamic team. Brief Role DescriptionAs part of the Finance team, the successful candidate will be coordinating / reporting and controlling Manpower cost, Overheads and Capital Expenditure whilst ensuring adherence to company targets, policies and control regulations.This includes reporting to various divisions and Finance review meetings. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for variance analysis, forecasting and the Budgets. Additionally they will also be responsible for financial evaluations for cost saving ideas. This individual will also be responsible for the planning round process for the relevant division Possible Tasks within this RoleControlling the Overheads and Manpower cost and reporting result for actuals (month & YTD) and full year forecastCalculate the Controllable for the Planning Round and Budget.Proactively liaise with various stakeholders regarding non-performance so as to facilitate reporting and corrective measures.Evaluate divisional forecast.Timeous monthly reporting of Manufacturing cost for the Finance review meetings.Fulfil the month-end financial and accounting requirements.Timeous journal postings in SAP for month-end closure.Analyse and monitor all cost on an 80/20 basis to identify and control cost drivers.Financial evaluation of general investment requirementsReconciliation of provision accounts.Ensure correct accounting of all transactions and re-imbursements.Ad-hoc financial studies. Qualification requirementsHave a B Com Degree ( Accounting III)/National Diploma in Cost Management Accounting or equivalent qualification Experience neededHave 3-5 years financial experience preferably in the Automotive industryHave experience ina cost accounting environment and methodsHave experience in financial analysis techniques EssentialsAdvance computer literacy (MS Excel, SAP, MS Power Point, Think-cell, Essbase and Poert BI)Excellent communication skillsBe assertiveAnalytical skills with systems orientationBe disciplined and able to perform under pressureAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently Added AdvantageA good understanding of the exchange rate impact on our business If you feel like you meet the requirements and that you are a great fit for this position, kindly send your CV to Alana Botha at
