REQUIREMENTSAffirmative Action South African Citizen, currently residing in Kariega/ Gqeberha, or willing to relocateBachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering3 years of proven facility planning experience e.g. writing specifications; procurement and commissioning in a complex industrial environmentESSENTIAL SKILLSAble to read and interpret technical drawingsOrganization, coordination and planning as well as resourcefulness skillsLogical, analytical and advanced technical insight and aptitudeAbility to deal with complexityAbility to communicate effectively at all levels and concisely explain and sell complex technical processesProven knowledge and experience in Industrial automation, networks and ITPeople skills and stakeholder managementCreative problem-solvingHighly computer literateRESPONSIBILITIESPreparing production facility investment studies and production concepts including timing, layouts, capacity concepts and different options for possible new products in paint and component plantsDeveloping specifications that ensure the company's requirements are met: new production facilities, new systems, new equipment and life cycle upgradesSetting up project management plans to ensure that all new/ upgraded facilities required for production are introduced: on time, to budget, compliantly (statutorily: OHS Act and SANS), to group standards, being capable of producing to the required quality and volume and the satisfaction of stakeholdersTechnical evaluation of tendersProject implementation: site establishment, construction/ installation, change point management, coordination of stakeholders, commissioning and keeping to the timing scheduleManaging project budgets by tracking actual expenditure versus budget, progress payments and final paymentEnsuring the supplier provides updated layouts to required group standards with all projectsEnsuring the supplier provides documentation for the facility i.e. operating manuals, maintenance manuals, component drawings, electrical drawings, etc.Buy-off of new equipment with the final acceptance schedule (end of commissioning)#J-18808-Ljbffr
