A prominent kitchen renovating company dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions seeks an experienced Storeman to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and controlling the storage and distribution of materials, with a specific focus on cabinetry components. Position: StoremanIndustry: ManufacturingLocation: Sandton - GautengSalary: Market RelatedSkills and Experience Requirements:Diploma or degree in a relevant field.Proven experience as a Storeman in the cabinetry industry or related field.In-depth knowledge of cabinetry components, including hinges, runners, and intricate parts.Familiarity with kitchen renovation materials and components.Effective communication and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping.  Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of cabinetry materials, including hinges, runners, and intricate components.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation. Stores Control: Implement effective stores control measures to prevent discrepancies and losses, particularly for cabinetry-related items.Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory records for cabinetry components. Order Processing: Receive and process material requests from various departments, prioritizing cabinetry components for ongoing projects.Coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels for cabinetry materials. Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming cabinetry materials for quality and compliance with specifications.Collaborate with the quality control team to address any discrepancies in cabinetry components. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns, specifically for cabinetry items.Generate reports on cabinetry-related inventory status for management review. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure safety protocols within the warehouse are followed, with a focus on cabinetry materials handling.Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly related to cabinetry components.
