Administrator (Steel / Hardware) – Wadeville, Johannesburg. A large retail steel distributor is looking for an experienced person to join their team. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent 3 or more years’ experience is required, the ideal candidate must come from a steel or engineering background Computer literate (advanced skilled on Excel) and Syspro would be an advantage Bilingual in English and Afrikaans Reliable transport Key Duties and Responsibilities: Capture approved GRV’s on ERP system. Costing of materials (Mild Steel). Ensure Pricing and quantities are correct. Ensure GRV’s are timeously approved and sent to head office. Check loads and paperwork in relation to pick notes and invoice and weighbridge. Ensure all branch managers are aware of incoming and available inventories trough daily communications. Ensure planning of loads are done to maximise efficiencies regarding loading, cost, and branch requirements. Liaising in a good manner regarding planning and management of loads with transporters and branches. Ensuring all transfer paperwork is correct, and in place before transporter arrives. Notify warehouse of load plans for preplanning actions. Ensure stock control during transfer process and investigations of shortages/returns are timeously resolved and adjusted after management approval. Create and manage SCT’s on Erp system. Control the process of inventory adjustments/credit notes, including the completion of documents and the processing of transactions after management approval. Negotiate in good manner with external parties on behalf of the company as and when required by management. Liaise in good manner within group departments: finance, creditors, debtors, product managers and sales. Invoice loads as and when management requires. Write and control manual delivery notes, ensuring all manual delivery notes are timeously invoiced and filed. Take part in stock counts as and when required by management. Do daily filing. Monitor phones. Ensure good housekeeping in your general working area and report any adverse problems. Any ad-hoc job-related task as and when required by management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
