Purpose Statement To co-ordinate and oversee the activities of the Fishaways Sushi restaurants, provide training to regional team members, Restaurant Managers, Area Managers, and Franchisees. Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position Establishes mutual respect between Franchisor and Franchisee network. Trusted Advisor. Optimize sushi operations to ensure efficiencies. Conduct and provide feedback on Sushi Evaluations. Shares best practice among restaurants and with regional teams. Conducts on the job training with restaurant teams and managers. Support the launch and implementation of sushi in Fishaways. Assess and provide an action plan for current sushi restaurants. Plan monthly cycle and support in restaurant during peak periods Meet and align with regional operations and training teams to unpack the restaurant sushi objectives. Provide feedback to the regional teams, to facilitate information for operations support and management related to sushi. Conducts and prepares for monthly one on one meeting with their line manager. Identify and communicate formal training needs to the training department for training intervention. Act as the sushi custodian and ensure brand integrity is always protected via adherence to all requirements across key functions namely, operations, development, and sushi marketing. Education and Experience Completed Matric / Grade 12. Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality Management 5 - 10 years of experience in preparation of Sushi and preferably in a Food Franchising role. Valid driver license. Willing and/or able to travel extensively. Willing and/or able to work over peak periods and weekends Knowledge and Skills Can understand and execute the fundamentals of Restaurant Shift Management Can understand and navigate a POSI system with regards to inventory management within a restaurant environment Uses software platforms such as Microsoft Outlook to organize and plan and communicate effectively Strong Communication, Organizational, Operational and People Skills Highly presentable Strong interpersonal skills Energetic self-starter A critical thinker with a hands-on approach to problem solving Fanatical attention to detail Strong customer service orientation Displays impeccable time keeping, arrives on time for meetings and prepares in advance. Ensures they plan road trips in advance. Calendar updated a month in advance. Be able to hold a courageous conversation. Integrity is maintained.
