Overview Description:  Hire Resolves Client is seeking for the perfect candidate in the Solar Renewable Energy Industry. Only candidates with the minimum requirements will be considered. Requirements:  • Minimum BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering. • 1 – 3 Years design experience in a work environment. • Minimum of 3 years in management position • Experience in Renewables • Microgrid experience required. • Project development experience required • IPP Project development and Implementation (Added advantage) • Must be registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (Pr. Eng). (ECSA) Responsibilities:   • Ability to produce designs using CAD software (AutoCAD and Microgrids). • Be able to design solar plants using Helioscope or similar PV design systems • Ability to prepare and manage project budgets and cash flow • Produce detailed quotes and BoQ with detail • Familiar with Eskom standards and processes • Experience in HV, MV and LV installations • Strong negotiating skills • Prepare and present proposals • Generate Project BoQ • Procure equipment • Manage implementation of small and utility-scale projects • Ability to develop Utility Scale projects • Knowledge of South African Engineering standards. • Must understand the OHS Act. • Strong leadership skills. • Must have own vehicle and driver’s license. • Willing to travel. • Willing to be away from home for extended periods of time for projects. • Good problem-solving skills. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work meticulously and ensure accuracy in designs and calculations. • Good communication skills both verbally and written. • Ability to be a team player. • Keep abreast with the latest solar technology trends. • Conduct applied research work in order to initiate process changes. • Assume responsibility for engineering discipline design as representative of the operational teams in projects. • Ability to direct and co-ordinate aspects of the project cycle to ensure optimum performance according to business requirements, company objectives, and sound engineering practice. • Deliver projects on safely, on time and in budget • Relevant registration certificate as Project Manager with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). Benefits: Salary between R540 000 – R780 000 p/a
