Doxim is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong QA experience in project life cycle processes, who is excited by the opportunity to work with Customer Facing emails, Secure PDF Forms, Payment Testing, Web Testing, and other testing needs for various companies. In this role, you will be required to work closely with both Project Managers and Development teams for test case creation and execution and to meet high quality standards. You will also be involved in requirement reviews and creating Data Scenarios for building test packs. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate test plans/cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Execute business cycle test cases against requirements Review Creative, Data & Functional specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Understanding of all Business requirements to create Data Scenarios & Test Packs Execute manual tests Communicate with stakeholders (written and verbal) Ability to think abstractly – outside the box of potential issues that could potentially happen Use your knowledge and experience to anticipate areas of particular risk in the system, and prioritize testing to find important defects early Work closely with QA Team lead, project managers and developers to communicate planned testing, testing progress, and status of the project Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes using JIRA Contribute to test group processes and standards BUSINESS SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem solving, and learning skills Diligent and high attention to detail Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Ability to meet schedule deadlines Shows Initiative Ability to work independently Excellent in multi-tasking skills Detailed in writing step by step (recreating issues) QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related technical field preferred 2+ years of experience in a Manual software testing / quality assurance role Excellent knowledge of quality theory, concepts, tools, and methodologies of QA Demonstrate knowledge of Software test/release process. Thorough understanding of testing methodologies Experience with defect management software and procedures Hands on experience with web-based applications Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation cycles Financial Sector experience preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
