This position offers the flexibility to either mentor a junior BD Manager or collaborate with a seasoned BD Manager to drive sales and business development initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) - optional dependent on experienceDemonstrated success in business development and sales roles within the software development industry, more specifically in the banking and financial services sector.Experience in the Fintech IndustryExperience in the EFT Clearance Settlement EnvironmentDeep understanding of paymentsGood communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.Strategic thinkerCollaboratorStrong business skills and decision-making ability.Open to regular travel to other African countriesfor professional purposes.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow relationships with existing clients.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the banking and financial services utilitiesDevelop and deliver on sales plans to achieve business goals and targetsWork closely with the Commercial Director.Conduct market researchAnalyse industry trends to identify potential clients.Carry out the sales process from lead identification to deal closure.Provide regular sales forecasts and reports.Work together with the support team to create and present proposalsRepresent our client at client engagements and industry conferences etc#J-18808-Ljbffr
