The Head-PMO is accountable for leading and shaping the selection, investment, prioritization, and execution of BankservAfrica projects. Lead a team to guide the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support, including reporting, risk and issue tracking, quality control and benefits tracking and reportingYou will engage with the following stakeholders:Bank and corporate clientsRegulatory bodiesShareholders and Board MembersAuditors and consultantsBank and Service Provider Project managers, business analysts and Test ManagersIT contractors and vendorsManagement and Executive ManagementBusiness Unit and Product OwnersIT managers and staffAll staffYour key responsibilities will include:Assessing current project management methodologies and provide recommendations on areas of improvement. Collect, consolidate and analyse program and project data to support effective decision makingEstablish, review and maintain a standard set of practices, processes, procedures, policies and templates for managing the EPMO and projects consistently and efficiently to reduce project-related risk and costs.Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of best practices within the EPMO in order to achieve corporate objectives. Monitor and report on compliance with established standards to ensure the organisation adheres to agreed policies and standardsEnsure alignment between customer and business requirements in terms of successful project delivery.Develop and deliver EPMO services and support BankservAfrica project and program management capability across the organisation to reduce project related risk.Ability to work effectively in high pressure situationsAbility to identify and resolve problemsAbility to influence at all levels of the organizationCommunicate EffectivelyGood financial acumenHigh level of negotiation skillsAbility to affect change management through the organisationQUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE PMP or PGMP certificationRequired computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications.Six Sigma or Lean designation is considered an assetEXPERIENCEMinimum 10 years’ experience in PMO Management, Project and Program or senior managementExperience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantageExperience in leading a project management teamExperience in budget managementExperience in facilitating meetings and consultations with internal and external stakeholders at various levels#J-18808-Ljbffr
