```html Overview A leading beverage company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Demand Planner to join their team. The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for: Maintain PO and inventory information and reports to ensure timely delivery of merchandise while meeting initial fill rate and turn goals. Develop monthly sales and inventory forecasts through vendor management tools and demand forecasting. Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. Develop and measure inventory levels and service performance through KPIs. Maintain all reports managing inventory levels and maintenance of backorders, in conjunction with communication to management about actions being taken to resolve any issues. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Conduct monthly forecast maintenance. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent qualification Experience: Minimum of 3 years using forecasting/demand planning modules in an ERP system Skills: Excellent MS Office and demonstrated Excel skills Understanding: Solid understanding of Inventory Management Practices and Procedures Capability: Ability to work with large datasets and develop diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics models is a critical prerequisite Knowledge: Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge Ability: Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills ```#J-18808-Ljbffr
