A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Demand Planner. Key Responsibilities: Earmarked the risks associated with products daily Apply all changes to MDP only upon approval from Supply Chain Manager with attention to detail Update Portal Consistently: Addition of new products launched Update of Supplier Cost and SEP Update minimum order quantities Batch sizes Lead times Highlight the risk to Product Managers and the Supply Chain Business Partner in the case of increased sales and or slow sales Chair demand planning meetings: Review previous demand and buy out plan compared to forecast Plan: Delivery of non-deliverables, milling and packing of new orders, monitor purchases Explain stock shortages or non delivery and communicate to sales team Discuss expected downtime and historic downtime by Suppliers Production and Demand Planning: Apply company protocols and policies to ensure world class standards of products and services Coordinate the demand planning process from production to packing and warehousing Always ensure adequate stock levels Lead daily production plan to meet sales requirements and communicate shortages to relevant parties Manage and plan the inventory supply to meet sales demand Prepare daily stock planning and detailed order planning reports for production meetings Communicate stock sheet and stock planning report to Supply Chain Manager on a daily basis.
