We're seeking a Business Intelligence & Sales Analyst to join client’s dynamic Pharmaceutical Sales team in Johannesburg. If you possess strong analytical skills and excel in translating data into actionable recommendations, this role could be for you. The Business Intelligence & Sales Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting data related to the organization's performance, enabling informed strategic decision-making. Working closely with the department’s Sales Director and stakeholders, you'll ensure the delivery of effective reports to drive business success. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Management to create annual product-based sales targets for the sales team, with quarterly adjustments based on financial forecast results. Maintain customer and product portfolio mapping by sales representative, in collaboration with Sales leadership. Manage data conversion from Wholesalers monthly and liaise with the Global SAP BI team to maintain the Wholesaler Cube. Update mapping for the Wholesaler and Sales Cubes as needed, incorporating changes such as new customers, products, or attribute adjustments. Calculate sales team incentives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Continuously improve various worksheets and mapping tables related to territory, product, representative, and region. Provide the sales team with weekly updates on sales performance vs. targets and 12-month unit sales trends. Assist Sales leadership with ad hoc reporting requests, including Cycle Meetings, Sales Conferences, and Forecasting meetings. Collaborate with Sales leadership to build monthly sales reports and continuously improve report formats and content. Compile Waste Management reports for participating customers. Act as a backup for the Market Intelligence manager in budgeting, forecasting, and Market Tracking System (MTS) processes. Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 Degree in Finance, Business, or a similar suited field. Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience in preparing and analysing sales force data (CRM) and evaluating performance against targets. Solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes. Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset. Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills. Familiarity with relevant databases and data extraction techniques.
