Duties and Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and enforce commercial and other legal documents to safeguard legal rights and provide expert advice. Prepare regulatory submissions advocating for favorable tax policies. Advise on all commercial matters within the organization. Provide clear legal guidance on complex issues. Act as legal counsel daily, addressing legal challenges promptly. Offer legal insight on new initiatives. Supervise legal matters requiring external assistance. Identify, research, analyze, and advise on regulatory requirements. Contribute to enhancing the internal legal department. Qualification and Experience Minimum BCom and BA LLB Degree. Postgraduate LLM in Taxation. Admitted Attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. Articles from a reputable firm. Demonstrate a good understanding of Company Tax. Experience as a Commercial Lawyer in a similar environment. Excellent Planning, Prioritizing, and Organizing abilities. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
