Requirements A recognised tertiary electrical engineering or commercial qualification Exposure to the electrical engineering industry and, in particular, substation-related work. Commercial expedience. ISO 9001 quality standards expertise and in-depth knowledge. Computer literacy and competence in using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Projects. Good communication skills and writing ability in English. Hard-working and ability to work under pressure. Clear credit rating due to the nature of the role. Clear criminal record. Exceptional ethics. The Role Determine project pricing and prepare tender documentation Contract negotiation and management. Customer Liaison and compiling project reports. Management and coordination of project teams, suppliers and subcontractors. Project and resource planning and maintaining up-to-date planning programmes. Contract budgeting and cost control reporting. Invoicing and cashflow forecasting. Coordination and supervision of design work, construction and commissioning of projects. Enforcing health, safety and environmental standards and legislation. Implementation of ISO 9001 quality standards. Management of project empowerment targets. Project close-out and final documentation submittals. Performing any other ancillary duties that may be reasonably expected, as and when required.
