Description Education Requirements: Matric (Non-Negotiable) Average 65% and higher on Maths Preferred Honours Degree holders / Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business studies or a related field (e.g., B.Com with Honours and completed articles) Qualified as CA (SA) Non-Negotiable Level 3 Tax Compliance: experience as tax compliance specialists Level 4 Financial Accounting experience: more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns Professional Registration: Minimum 10 years appropriate management experience in a Manufacturing or operations environment (Non-Financial Institutions). Demonstrates understanding of all facets of business operations and interactions, a sound working knowledge of financial management, numeracy, and attention to detail Fluent in Afrikaans and English Strong understanding and application of SA income tax, VAT, and other tax legislations High level computer literacy (including MS Office / Excel) Working experience in a financial environment; knowledge of online computer applications (JDE) Demonstrates ability to prioritise and plan work, handle a diversity of tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, manage projects and cope under pressure The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Accountants and Junior Accountants Demonstrates commitment to teamwork, service, integrity, and confidentiality Decisive and assertive with capability to build/maintain professional relationships.
