This entails thoroughly understanding the issues, requirements, and needs of customers and leveraging this insight to devise value-added proposals in collaboration with the sales team. Establishing robust customer relationships, particularly with technical and engineering staff, is crucial. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for new fuel and additive products, introducing them to the market, and supporting the sales and marketing teams in their promotion. Furthermore, the incumbent will contribute to the development of sales support materials such as product datasheets, case studies, customer testimonials, and training materials. Emphasizing a blend of technical expertise and strong sales acumen, this position aims to showcase Puma's proficiency in fuel quality management and solutions while driving value for customersKnowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities Support the sales team to identify and develop customer value and cost savings opportunities to develop comprehensive CVP’s (Customer Value Proposition) to build sustainable business.Active direct on-site engagement with the key stakeholders at these prospect customers to understand their activity and identify their issues with a view to provide an offer that would add value.Assist the sales team to handle and resolve customer enquiries, complaints, queries and if required undertake trouble shooting visits at the customer site, Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Support the sales team to undertake technical surveys at customer sites to understand the customer fuel system requirements and current methods of operation.Assist the sales team to set-up and manage solution evaluations, including agreed upon evaluation KPI’s, at customer sites and develop a robust business case process on demonstrating the value of our products back to the customer after the evaluation has been completed.Quality Management  •Comply and support the Quality Management system in all aspects of the role.Adopt and implement the principles of continuous improvement.Ensure the awareness of customer requirements (internal & external) are promoted throughout the business.Review, monitor and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the fuel quality management system.Engage, support and continuously improve communication processes that support the quality management system and provide positive outcomes for the business, customers and key stakeholders.Work Experience:Preferred Post graduate university / Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Min 10 years’ experience in fuel quality management.Affinity to additives technologies is an advantageSkills: Deep understanding of the Downstream Oil & Gas BusinessStrong analytical skillsBe a strong team playerWork on multiple projects concurrently.Strong and hands-on problem solverHighly motivatedStrong work ethicsAbility to interact with large external clients and vendors as well as key internal stakeholders Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications; Presentation tools and programsAbility to travel extensivelyLanguages:Fluency in verbal and written English mandatoryFluency in French is useful.Key Relationships and Department Overview:Internal: Retail and Sales Teams External: B2B customers About UsPuma Energy is a leading global energy business which supplies, stores and distributes petroleum products in 48 countries across six continents.
