We have an incredible opportunity available for a Regional Sales Manager based in South Africa, Johannesburg to lead the regional sales team! What You Will Be Doing: Within an assigned sales region, manages sales functions for special product categories as well as dealer business managers and/or strategic account managers, providing leadership, accountability and direction for sales activities and dealer performance. Analyzes market information and establishes sales, market share, and profitability goals. Develops strategies and plans to achieve goals. Appropriately develops and deploys Steelcase sales resources within the sales region/focus to optimize business results with all key audiences. Implements approved sales and marketing programs within the sales region/focus. Who You Are: Required Skills and Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people within the company and external audiences. Strategic sales, negotiation and problem solving skills. Self-motivated, self-directed and willing to be accountable for results. Successful track record of developing strong business results and relationships with all key audiences. Maintain key business relationships within the region, including relationships with dealer principals, A&D companies and large accounts. Effectively mediate conflicts within the channel to ensure smooth operations and optimal collaboration. Consistently engage with stakeholders, build a strong market presence and present the Steelcase value proposition to key audiences. Ability to step into the sales process and make an immediate impact to help close deals, while coaching the development of sales team members Strong, relevant work experience, with a preference for prior leadership experience.
