We are looking for a motivated Team Assistant to join Group Internal Audit and Assurance (GIAA) in the Planning, Reporting and Operations (PRO) team. The Team Assistant will provide administrative support to the GIAA leadership team by gathering, recording, and synthesising information efficiently and effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance of system databases, including data entry tasks. Quality checks and processing of data sets and workbooks. General and ad hoc administrative duties, such as updating records and tracking spreadsheets. Assist in gathering, analysing, and synthesizing information for presentations. Provide administrative support to the GIAA leadership team by ensuring efficient general office administration such as diary management and order processing. Coordinating schedules and arranging team meetings, workshops, and events. Attending meetings and preparation of notes and tracking of follow up actions. To provide “first point of contact” for the department. This position will report to the Head of Assurance PRO, who reports to the Head of GIAA. QUALIFICATION&SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Diploma in administration, office management, or a related field. Advantageous to demonstrate post qualification studies or soft skills development. Work Experience: Min of 5 years of experience in a team assistant or administrative role (advantageous if within a corporate or audit environment). Extensive Ms PowerPoint and Excel skills Competencies: A high level of attention to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing documents and entering information. Well-organised with an efficient working style and able to manage time effectively (ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities). Comfortable at performing recurring/repetitive tasks. Good team player with a can-do and positive attitude Good interpersonal skills (ability to work well and interact with stakeholders and adaptability to handle changing work demands) Able to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
