Be responsible for all the traditional FM tasks at organisational level while managing a small but excellent and established finance team. Minimum Qualifications: · Accounting Related Qualification (CA(SA), CIMA) · Completed articles (SAIPA or SAICA). Preferred Skills / Prerequisites · 7+ Years experience in Manufacturing industry. · Strong financial presentation and management skills. · Ability to prioritize, delegate and follow through tasks with a team · Self-directed with proven ability to research complex issues, work independently, and multitask several projects efficiently · Strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing and sustaining effective peer, project andsupporting organizational relationships · Skilled with Excel for data manipulation and analysis such as pivot tables, lookups, etc. Key Roles and Responsibilities · Upkeep of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures such to ensure adequate controls are established and that substantiating documents are in place. · Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. · Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. · Prepare monthly management accounts. · Oversee and contribute to the production of monthly reports and other financial statements for use by Executive Management, the Board of Directors and / or the Audit and Risk Committee. · Attend management meetings. · Report any irregularities or perceived irregularities to the Board for consideration and guidance. · Reporting of financial results to the Group head office. · Maintenance and balancing of intergroup loan, debtors and creditors accounts. · Budget Preparation and Management: · Prepare annual budget and present to the Board of Directors. · Directly assist the MD and play an important role on the senior management team on all strategic matters as they relate to budget management. · Assist department heads with setting of department budgets, as well as the monthly tracking of budgets to actuals. · Approve various department spend – compared to budget. · Provide MD and senior management with an operating budget and work with them to ensure success through cost analyses Revenue: · Assist with the setting of annual revenue budgets · Remain actively involved in weekly revenue forecast/tracker updates; provide guidance to · Business Development Executives in updating trackers and attend weekly sales meetings · Assist with the preparation of monthly revenue report, to report any overs/under on revenue targets · Oversee the monthly increase process (to be done according to raw material movements) · Investigating and commenting on GP% variances. Stock and warehouse: · Develop, implement and maintain procedures around stock and the warehouse function to en sure that stock is accounted for accurately · Valuation of stock (Raw material, WIP, FG) accurately monthly and calculating the overhead recovery. Compliance: · Ensure timeously submission of WCA annually · Ensure statutory compliance by correct and timeous submission and payment of VAT (monthly), Bag levy (quarterly), PAYE (Monthly&Biannually) and PROV tax (Bi-annually). · Managing, Collecting and submitting supporting documents to SARS for tax verification and disputes (VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, BAG LEVY) · Liaise with internal audit · Manage&liaise with external auditors Remuneration and Payroll Preparation and Administration: · Assist with timely calculations of commission, increases and salaries and wages for staff as well as management bonuses along with Board approval when necessary. · Oversee the payroll function to ensure that employees are paid timeously and accurately including annual increases, overtime, commission and bonuses · Assist with the approval of new employee remuneration packages · Oversee the leave administration function and ensure that leave is taken in accordance with the leave policy and guidelines. 4 people have applied for this job. 119 people have viewed this job. #J-18808-Ljbffr
