Job Title: Claims Consultant (Commercial and Personal Lines)Company Overview: Join our client's reputable insurance company, dedicated to providing exceptional insurance solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Claims Consultant to join their Claims Department.Position Overview: As a Claims Consultant specializing in both commercial and personal lines, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing claims from initial reporting to resolution. You will work closely with policyholders, agents, and third-party vendors to assess, process, and settle claims while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:Receive and review commercial and personal lines of insurance claims, including property, liability, auto, and other lines of coverage.Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage, liability, and claim validity.Analyze policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to assess claim eligibility and coverage limits.Communicate with policyholders, agents, and external parties to gather information, documentation, and statements related to claims.Evaluate damages, losses, and expenses associated with claims and determine appropriate settlement amounts.Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders within authorized limits.Manage claim files and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.Provide timely updates and communication to policyholders regarding claim status, progress, and resolution.Collaborate with claims adjusters, legal teams, and other departments to resolve complex claims issues and disputes.Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions and communications.Qualifications:Matric, RE5, RE1, and FAIS credits.Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial and personal line's claims handling within the insurance industry.Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and claims processes, including property and casualty lines.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to ethical conduct, compliance with regulations, and continuous learning and development.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Ongoing training and professional development programs.How to Apply: If you meet the qualifications and are interested in joining our client's team as a Claims Consultant, please submit your resume.
