As the IoT integrations manager you will play a pivotal role in providing hardware and telemetry support for our SaaS platform. You will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of devices and systems, ensuring that these devices and platforms work together effectively. It is imperative that client telemetry is available and reflecting on AVA. You will be responsible for heading up the hardware division, maintaining the effective operations of hardware provided by AVA to the client and implementing and sourcing new technologies for telemetry feeds to be made available on the platform as the need arises. Your Role Develop a comprehensive strategy for integrating IoT devices and systems into existing infrastructure/software platforms, aligning with AVA's goals and technical requirements. Set parameters for hardware selection, integration processes, and firmware development to meet evolving needs. Provide administrative oversight, including inventory management and cost-effective hardware resource management. Assess hardware and software solutions for compatibility, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee hardware integration with software systems, networks, and databases, ensuring interoperability. Validate telemetry feed quality and design data management strategies. Implement security measures to protect IoT devices and data. Work with technical teams to diagnose and solve problems. Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors, negotiate contracts, and stay informed about updates. Monitor key metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize deployments. Provide monthly hardware status reports and maintain documentation. Support on-site technicians, manage tickets, and foster a culture of innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across departments. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into the product roadmap. Skills include network engineering, project management, and IT service management. What we're looking for Proven work experience of 3-5 years in electronic engineering, IoT integrations, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS industry. Bachelor's or master’s degree in electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech/B.Eng/B.Sc preferred) Must have own car and valid driver’s license. Medically fit to enter mine Strong understanding of hardware components, telemetry systems, and IoT protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, with a passion for innovation and technology. Bonus Points Firmware development experience is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
