Responsibilities:Responsible for innovation, design, simulations, specifying BOMs, rapid prototyping, firmware integration and documentation of assemblies or systems for use in:Products for electrical protection and energy metering.Automated test equipment to support the companys mass manufacturing processes.Liaise with internal and external role players (e.g. Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Software Engineering, Project Management, etc., to support innovation, design, and manufacturing.May be required to occasionally travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites.Taking ownership of projects and execute from problem identification to implementation.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum BSc (Eng.) / BEng degree in Electronics.3-10 years design experience in Electronic design, PCB layout and prototyping as well as Writing software / embedded firmware.Relevant Masters Degree or other relevant qualifications would be advantageous.Knowledge of IoT networking, system integration and other software.
