My client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their team. If you excel in managing customer data, enjoy working with SAP, and have a knack for professional communication, wed love to hear from you!This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:Manage Master Data on Customers:Oversee and maintain accurate Master Data for all customer accounts.Ensure all new account openings are supported by legally required documentation.Customer Data Management:Update and manage new customer data in the Master Data List.Keep SAP records current with all correspondence and interactions with customers.Dunning Process:Conduct professional calls to customers for timely collections.Assist in categorizing the customer base according to the company's classifications.Payments and Reconciliation:Allocate payments and discounts effectively.Manage reconciliations and submit payment plans.Customer Assistance:Provide support for administrative and credit queries from customers.Bad Debt Management:Apply the Experian Process weekly to manage slow-paying accounts.Issue early warning notices to the Senior Credit Controller for overdue accounts.Prepare all necessary documentation for the legal process, including all relevant correspondence.General Administration:Collaborate with sales teams on queries and dunning procedures.Process SAP credit notes and invoices for customers.Archiving Management:Ensure accurate filing of new applications and updates in customer status.Verify surety details and special arrangements.Credit Tickets Management:Follow up on credit tickets on behalf of customers.Support credit staff with customer queries related to credit requests.Project Management:Assist the Financial Controller and Senior Credit Controller with ad-hoc projects.Qualifications and Experience needed:Completed Matric with Completed Credit Management Course5 years experience in credit managementLocal and Foreign accounts would be advantageous
