The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial equipment supply and a proven track record in managing inventory and warehouse operations. Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the stores, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and productsManage and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all timesSupervise a team of storekeepers and warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as neededMonitor and update inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and movementConduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actionsCoordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and productsImplement and enforce health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environmentDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materialsPrepare and maintain reports on store activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and department performanceRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stores or warehouse supervisory roleProven track record in managing inventory and warehouse operationsKnowledge of industrial equipment and materialsStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProficiency in inventory management software and systemsValid driver's licenseRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
