As a Data Engineering&Analytics Vertical Market Lead, your responsibilities include: - Providing advisory and thought leadership on analytics environments leveraging Cloud-based platforms and big data technologies. - Driving pre-sales initiatives and coming up with solutions for scalable data architectures. - Leading multiple competencies within data engineering&analytics and guiding communities on next-best technologies. - Responding to client RFI, RFP documents with proper solution design and cost estimates. - Creating proactive proposals based on customer business priorities and technology landscape. - Building solution roadmaps and strategies for internal DE&A platform. - Leading analyst briefings, managing technical solutions development, and ensuring successful project deliveries. - Developing best practices, estimating effort, identifying risks, and providing technical support. - Leading and mentoring various practice competency teams as needed. Skills Required: 15-20 years of Data and Analytics experience with minimum 5+ years in one of the cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience with cloud native data services, Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query, and Synapse. Expertise in the Big Data stack (HDFS, SPARK, MapReduce, Hadoop, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume, Kafka) and No-SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra). Experience with open source software platforms and languages like Java, Python, Scala. Good understanding of AI, ML implementation lifecycle and latest tools. Working experience with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, Ab Initio, Pentaho). Experience with various data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud). Analytical and consulting skills, strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
