We are looking for Sr Engineer in the Process Planning Maintenance division for our client in Boksburg that offers filtration solutions, developing products that keep people, the environment, and machines healthy.You will be responsible for:Responsible for determining the means of manufacturing for air intake system, air cleaner, air filters to the required level.Ensuring that within a designated area the necessary engineering solutions are developed relating to layout, material handling, tooling, equipment / facilities, process and quality.You will manage the maintenance activities during the serial production.Requirements:Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Mechatronics with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Hands-on experience in manufacturing process planning, Assembly line establishment, SPM / Equipment development.Hands-on experience in Assembly and Joining processes like Torqueing, Hot and cold pressing, and Plastic welding.Knowledge in Plastic Joining process, component manufacturing, assembly process, and Machining.QMS ISO –TS 16949, EMS requirements.Language criteria: English and local language Knowledge on handling IATF16949 and ISO 14001 45001 requirements.Review of manufacturing concept, packaging concepts, process layout based on product design.Design review of products for manufacturing and testing feasibility.Prepare machine / SPM/fixture specifications for assembly and testing of products.Responsible for maintaining cycle time, schedule, and quality throughout the developments as planned in the initial stage.Hands-on experience in Assembly and Joining processes like Torqueing, Hot and cold pressing, and plastic welding.Design review and participate in the development of equipment, SPM, and Fixtures.Establishment of manufacturing processes, qualification, and commission of machines and SPMS through DOE, Process capability studies, and GRR.#J-18808-Ljbffr
