Hybrid working model - mostly remote with some office days. (Offices are based in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban -preference is Johannesburg.) JOB OVERVIEW: The Sales&Account Manager supports the Sales Director and is responsible for the growth of company revenue from the selling of the company'sservices/solutions. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Market Analysis Engage to understand, and keep abreast of market, industry and customerneeds, and priorities in the short, medium and long term. Builds a solid reputation and a network of relationships in the SAP marketand positions the company as a solution provider in these markets. Provide input into and support the Competency Lead (head of departments)with drafting and updating the Competency Strategy, plan and budgetaligned to market analysis. Develop sales plans for new and existing customers. Provide input into and sign off the Sales&Marketing collateral. Draft and update Sales&Marketing budget. Tracking and reporting on sales strategy, plan, and budget. Develop leads and convert them into new business opportunities. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer managers/executivesthrough continuous engagements. Involve Competency Leads and other relevant senior team members/subject matter experts during pre-sales engagements. Develops a clear understanding of the customers' business requirementsand positions the company in this context. Determine project scope. Draft and submit project proposals, statements of work and plans. Draft and sign MSA with the customer (if new customer or renewal needed). Provide input into the compilation of the project team based on projectrequirements, team members' availability and career ambitions. Extend Contracts and Scope of work to independent consultants. Project Delivery Work closely with the relevant Competency Leads and Project Managers(PMs) to stay abreast of project delivery progress. Continue high-level engagement with client during project progress. Project tracking against plan and budget. Is responsible for gross profitmargins on assigned projects. Successfully engages and manages customer and partner accounts andensures no accounts are lost due to relationship factors or competitiveactivities. Manages customer and partner-related documentation and administrationincluding vendor onboarding and monthly invoicing. Project conclusion Obtain customer feedback for developing future-oriented customerservice strategies, white papers. General This role reports to the Sales Director. This role has no direct reports. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 7 years previous experience in a services/solutions sales/Businessdevelopment role within a complex ERP environment. Minimum of 3 years previous experience working with SAP.
