Role Responsibilities A solid background in the public and private sector specializing in land infrastructure fromtownship to site specific scale. Sound knowledge in the use of a variety of civil engineering analysis software. Advancedcomputer skills with working knowledge of CAD Software. General understanding of BIM processes. Working knowledge will be advantageous. Knowledge and experience of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices. Strong work winning, client facing capability and experience. Assist in preparing and coordinating tenders/bids and contribute to winning work initiatives. Ensure timely delivery of projects, within scope and budget. Establish a clear understanding of project goals and stakeholder expectations, specifically managing client expectations and ensuring that delivery meets expectations. Lead and coordinate small and medium projects including management of delivery teams and reporting on budgets and schedules and maintaining team morale. Produce other key deliverables on projects such as technical reports, specifications, and bills of quantities. Be a team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies. Act as a senior project-level point of contact for clients. Resolve project level issues independently. Motivate the project team towards the determined objectives by generating enthusiasm for the project and by maintaining a continued personal interest in achieving set targets. Confident, well-spoken, self-starter, disciplined, detail and deadline / delivery orientated. Excellent communication skills (proven ability to interact well with personnel at allorganizational levels) Excellent organisational skills (ability to plan and implement) and Time Management skills. BSc/BEng. Degree (Civil Engineering). Professional Engineer registered with ECSA with 5-10 years’ experience (5 years’ post-registration) Design and project leading experience. Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a design specialist in land infrastructure, specific tomunicipal and site specific services. Must be CAD proficient.
