3-year tertiary qualification in Logistics and or related. A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role within FMCG/Manufacturing industry. Supply chain or logistics background will be advantageous. Sound knowledge of SAGE system. Budgeting. Knowledge of BCEA&Labour laws Must be able to work in a high performing culture/environment Responsibilities: Prioritizing tasks according to business demands. Ensuring execution of IBT and customer transport plans as per agreements. Supervising loading/distribution schedules to meet service level agreements. Maintaining vehicles in good working order for timely deliveries, adhering to food safety requirements. Managing staff timekeeping and ensuring adherence to work schedules. Coordinating with Packaging warehouse staff to confirm supplier deliveries. Ensuring timely and accurate Goods Received Voucher (GRV) processing. Monitoring staff adherence to checklists and identifying operational constraints. Reporting daily activities to the Regional Logistics Manager, including outbound trucks and stock movements. Providing weekly reports on critical operational aspects such as damaged stock and stock movements. Monitoring cost factors and comparing actual costs to budget. Submitting monthly expense and profitability reports to Logistics Manager. Compiling business/site reports for month-end reporting and presenting to management. Ensuring timely offloading of inbound vehicles to avoid delays. Enforcing adherence to inbound and outbound procedures for product integrity and pallet condition. Communicating budgeting information to the Head of Department. Managing staff timekeeping, service delivery, and warehouse housekeeping to maintain operational efficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
