Business Segment: Insurance & Asset Management Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30 The primary role of the National Head: Portfolio Management is to lead, oversee and coordinate all portfolio management activities and to take full accountability for the of the discretionary portfolio management team and to manage the optimisation of the Portfolio Management Assistant model and servicing role.To ensure the team is managed effectively and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. To lead and manage a book of key client portfolios and optimally solve for client requirements and ensure optimal investment return for clients. To achieve nationally, the strategic objectives of client retention, new client acquisition and to contribute to enhanced MD revenue growth. Qualifications Minimum QualificationsPost Graduate Diploma in Finance and AccountingRelevant tertiary business qualification, CFA. Completion of FAIS regulatory exams.Experience RequiredA minimum of 10 years senior portfolio management experience within Investment ManagementA proven track record of effective leadership experience within a private clients businessA proven track record of effectively growing an individual book of businessA proven track record of effectively growing teams and their books of businessA proven track record of growing a team across different locations#J-18808-Ljbffr
