The Financial Director will guide and manage the overall provision of finance support services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The Finance Director will have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyze figures and implement recommendations based on these findings with the most profitable outcomes. Working alongside the business MD and company-freight, the Finance Director will not only be an exceptional accountant, hands on with company finances but be commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business. The Finance Director would have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, often having to work with various company divisions to help them plan and manage their own budgets. The Financial Director will also oversee the company's Finance Office staff and work closely with Company Executives and senior management. The Finance Director will also be responsible for supporting development and the implementation of the company BBBEE plan. Manage external stakeholder requirements and expectations including that of the shareholder and audit committee. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Minimum 8 years as a qualified CA (SA). Minimum 3 years as CFO or FD of an organisation. Sound people management and team leadership. Must know and be familiar with the relevant legislation/s. Experience in Credit supervision/management is an advantage. Knowledge of Payroll and Benefits Management.
