Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PrEng registration is preferred but not mandatory. Over 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in renewable energy and solar PV systems. Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex projects from concept to completion. Demonstrated success in commissioning large BESS systems, including generator integration. Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design standards, and regulatory requirements for solar energy projects. Proficient in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) and simulation tools (e.g., Helioscope, PVsyst, PVSol). Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and achieve results in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, team members, and senior management. Dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes. Key Responsibilities: System sizing and Design: Lead the design and development of solar PV systems, including interpreting consumption data, creating electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and layout plans. Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards, industry best practices, and client needs. Technical Competence: Offer technical assistance on electrical engineering issues such as system optimization, grid integration, and performance enhancement. Serve as a subject matter expert on solar energy technologies and electrical engineering principles. Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and software tools, to meet project and departmental goals. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with clients and project stakeholders to understand project requirements, address technical questions, and ensure client satisfaction.
