As a Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks in various areas of the business. Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies. Monitor and report on risk management activities to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives. Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in risk management. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. Several years of experience in risk management, preferably in a Mining environment or related industry. Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Professional certification in risk management is a plus.
