The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring optimal operation of our SAN storage and VMWARE infrastructure, as well as leading multiple teams. Job Responsibilities Manage and maintain our enterprise SAN storage and VMWARE infrastructure. Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical resources. Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, and regulatory compliance. Conduct research and make recommendations on storage products, services, and standards. Manage and resolve issues in alignment with the SLAs. Lead and manage multiple teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide strategic leadership and direction for the IT department. Oversee and manage *** and OPEX budgets, including forecasting and strategic planning. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification Role Relevant Tertiary Qualification Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field will be a plus Certifications in VMWARE, SAN, or other related fields would be a plus. Minimum Experience Level 5-10 years managing teams of expert in Storage and VMWARE engineers. 5 – 10 years managing an Enterprise Storage and VMWARE environment. Proven experience as a SAN Storage and VMWARE Infrastructure Manager. Strong knowledge of SAN storage systems and VMWARE infrastructure. Proven leadership experience in managing multiple teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
