PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner.Share and collaborate effectively with others.Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise.Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly.Follow risk management and compliance procedures.Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism.Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials I produce.Build and maintain an internal and external network.Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.Role Summary:An exciting opportunity exists for a Transfer Pricing specialist to join our Transfer Pricing team, which is a specialist line of service within our national Corporate and International Tax consulting practice.The role will provide you with the opportunity to help our global clients develop compliant, tax efficient structures that advance their business goals.We are looking for a self-starting individual who is happy to take on responsibility in a dynamic team environment, with flexibility to work on multiple engagements on a simultaneous basis.Qualifications / Certifications required:Applicable degree(s) in economics, accounting, law, commerce and/or finance (NQF level 7)Postgraduate studies in Taxation or Economics (NQF level 8+) will be advantageous.Exposure to studies, training courses, seminars or task groups in the field of transfer pricing will be advantageous.Experience required:1-3 years’ experience in Transfer Pricing.Responsibilities of role:The successful candidate will be required to:Prepare technical Transfer Pricing advice, planning and documentation, which add value to a client’s business;Assist with the preparation of benchmarking studies;Perform Transfer Pricing reviews as part of statutory audits;Prepare exchange control applications and “fair and market related” reports required for exchange control purposes;Keep abreast with the ever-changing tax landscape through relevant technical training;Develop deep knowledge of bespoke PwC developed digital tools, applications and business processes. Skill sets required:Ability to provide solutions to business problems – analytical skills.Good client relationship management skills.Good communication, legal writing and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise and work under pressure towards deadlines.Organisation and time management skills.People management skills - Coaching and providing feedback & delegation skills.Ability to manage multiple assignments and multi-task.Role related attributes:Results oriented with leadership qualities.Sales-orientedLateral thinker.Self-motivated.Takes initiative and responsibility for personal development and updated technical knowledge.Positive attitude.Independence requirements to be taken into consideration:Standard PwC risk management restrictions apply* Industry experience required:Prior experience in managing and/or advising multinational entities on their related party and transfer pricing matters, including:Transfer pricing methodologies, OECD guidelines, and SARS Transfer Pricing documentation requirements;Transfer pricing policies & documentation planning;Intercompany pricing arrangements between related business entities e.g. relating to the transfer of intellectual property, transfer of tangible goods, services and loans, and other financing transactions; Benchmarking studies;Tax dispute resolution processes, including dealings with SARS, Mutual Agreement Procedures and/or Advance Pricing Agreements; Substantive corporate income tax law, corporate structures, business value drivers and global developments in the field of transfer pricing and international tax; andExchange control requirements and “fair and market related” reporting.Prior employment within a corporate advisory environment (e.g. Big-4 auditing firm and/or reputable law firm) is preferred.Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified)Degrees/Field of Study required:Degrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified)Required SkillsOptional SkillsDesired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel RequirementsAvailable for Work Visa Sponsorship?Government Clearance Required?Job Posting End DateJune 3, 2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
