These jobs were popular with other job seekers The Product Manager will be responsible for providing overall senior strategic direction and implementation of online products in order to increase revenue and market share through online betting offerings, customizing, configuring, and creating new product solutions. Duties & Responsibilities • Determine the vision of the product and prioritise the various changes required based on client needs. • Conduct continuous research into customer needs and compile proposals for improvements or additions to the product. • Manage the product development process end to end and ensure quality and accuracy thereof. • Excellent communication and continuous collaboration development and testing teams. • Close collaboration with Business Analysts to translate the product roadmap into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria. • Close collaboration with Project Managers to ensure successful realisation of product changes and to identify and assess risk. • Understanding of usability and UI/UX principles. Close collaboration with UI/UX designers to create a seamless customer experience. • Clear and consistent communication to relevant stakeholders and management. • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Review implementation of product changes before release to clients. Engage with stakeholders – Outputs • Represent the customer by ensuring continuous improvement of the product to meet client needs and create value for clients. • Ability to work as part of the greater organisational team but also work independently, as well as work with clients. • Maintain and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Effectively communicate at all management levels with clients/ stakeholders. • Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility. Self-management and teamwork – Outputs • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders. • Positively influence and participate in change initiatives. • Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge. • Take ownership for driving career development. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Qualifications • Matric. • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology / Business, Engineering or similar would be advantageous Minimum Experience • 2-3 years’ experience in a product ownership or management role. • 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership role. • Experience writing product specifications. • Experience in aligning multiple stakeholders on delivery scope. • Experience in maintaining a roadmap. • Experience and basic knowledge of the software development industry.
