Reporting to the Electronic Assembly Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible to deliver high quality products on time in order to demand. Main Responsibilities: Follow assembly instructions Assemble from a sample or drawing meetCorrectly identify electrical components, component polarity and color coding of resistors Populate electronic components correctly on a circuit boardBeing competent in the use of hand soldering equipmentBe able to trim and clean boards after solderingMust be competent in the use of relevant hand tools and assembly jigsMust be competent in the use of relevant test jigsPerform basic fault finding and inspection of boardsFollow SOP’sShould know and understand the procedure when assemblies pass and failShould understand the save operating procedure and emergency procedure in case of emergencyPerforming basic mechanical assemblies associated with electrical assemblies (i.e. heat sinks, battery chargers, enclosures)Following standard assembly instructions (i.e. Right tool for the right job at the right workstation)Adhering to general health and safety and housekeeping rules Qualifications and other Requirements: MatricPrevious experience in an electronic manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of OHS (5S’s) and quality concepts#J-18808-Ljbffr
