Our client is looking for an IT Operations manager Responsibilities: Manage and lead the IT Infrastructure / Support staff handling tasks such as recruitment, supervision,development and performance evaluations. Ensure the company's IT infrastructure and systems are diligently managed and maintained by the IT Infrastructure/ Support team. Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements. Develop and implement the IT Operations Plans to enhance operational efficiency by assessing current processes and identifying areas for enhancement, integrating best practices to streamline IT Operations, bolster network security, fortify the Service Desk and refine IT systems. Maintain and enhance the disaster recovery plan to safeguard the company’s ability to recover from IT-related disruptions, ensuring business continuity and resilience. IT Infrastructure and Security Management Direct the management of the company’s IT Infrastructure, which encompasses servers, data centres, enterprise storage devices, virtual and cloud platforms, among others. Ensure the IT Infrastructure’s availability, scalability and security. Monitor network configurations and ensure accurate documentation of network diagrams,asset inventory and configurations to facilitate seamless operations and swift troubleshooting. Implement and enforce security measures, including firewalls, encryption protocols, endpoint protection solutions, intrusion detection systems and more. Incident and problem management oversight Take charge of incident response and troubleshooting procedures in the event of network outages or performance degradation, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the process. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems The ideal candidate should have: • Proven 5 to 6 years’ experience in an IT Operations Manager or similar role. • Proven experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence. • Experience managing and delivering information security systems and processes. • Experience managing infrastructure and support teams. • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical problems. Knowledge • Broad technical knowledge of current trends in network, security and cloud infrastructure. • Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. • Strong understanding of project management principles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
