A leading non-profit organisation focused on education is currently seeking a creative and strategic Chief Programme and Platform Officer to join their team in Johannesburg.As the CPO, you report directly to the CEO and are responsible for the executive management of program design and development, operations, and technology, ensuring the effective integration and synergy between these areas.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the evolution of program design and operations, integrating technology to build an early learning platform.Establish and manage partnerships with provincial education departments, municipalities, and state employment initiatives.Co-build and expand the network of operating partners to expand the platform.Drive high-quality, effective program operations to enrol more children and practitioners in inclusive, affordable early learning programs.Improve program design to achieve quality child outcomes, adapting curriculum, practice quality, micro-enterprise opportunities, and practitioner licensing to various contexts.Collaborate with the Tech Head to develop a tech-enabled platform that scales the provision of quality, affordable early learning.Serve as Child Safeguarding Officer, ensuring all actions prioritise the best interests and safety of children.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 12+ years of experience in complex organisation-systemic contexts and at least 5 years in senior / leadership position(s). Preferably in early childhood development, education, or public health.Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline, e.g. education, health, social development.Proven track record of programme development and leadership, overseeing large-scale, complex and nationally dispersed social programmes, incl. budget development and management.Familiar with design thinking and iterative designing.Fluency in one or more African languages is beneficial.SALARY:Cost to Company Per Annum: R1.6 - 2 million per year depending on the candidate#J-18808-Ljbffr
