Introduction Consulting Firm specialising in Labour Relations, Business Advisory, Human Resources and Accountancy is seeking a dynamic and non-practicing attorney or Senior Labour qualified pratitioner, to join the team in order to provide Labour Law support to clients through representation at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, etc. Reporting is directly to CEO of Company and opportunity to build team are provided. Key Responsibilities: Managing all internal legal matters such as Service Level Agreements, Debt Management and legal requirements from time to time. Understanding and advising clients on all laws affecting the Employee / Employer relationship. Producing and supplying corrective Contracts to Clients with Company specifications. Representing and managing of collective discussions and / or tribunal meetings in terms of the Company requirements and in terms of legislation. Providing legal services with knowledge in all aspects of law and legal requirements to the best interest of clients. Supporting clients with Legal duties / requirements such as investigations, consultations, grievance management, Mutual Separation discussions or mediations. Initiating and / or chairing of hearings for clients as per requirement. Alignment with Company partners for corrective and procedural corrective measures is crucial. Drafting and supplying of outcomes / opinions, etc. to clients within 3-days after consultations / hearings, etc. Drafting and submitting Objections to Con/Arbs, In Limine Arguments, Jurisdiction challenges, etc. Meeting of deadlines in terms of compliance factors, areas of legislative requirements, etc; Union Management and negotiations (collective agreement knowledge); Promote and ensure client compliance to regulations and laws; Provide professional service support in terms of retrenchments, etc; Provide proactive and ongoing guidance and advice to clients in respect of a wide spectrum of Legal Services; Writing of articles and presenting of workshops where required; Posting of completed hours and work – daily. Proficient in: - Excellent writing skills (legal language&English) - Adaptability and flexibility with day-to-day tasks and workload distribution - Quick thinker with ability to advice on legal matters - Confident and ability to work under pressure - Managing and altering of diary as per requirement and prioritization - Computer literacy in drafting of documentation and utilizing of share drive Specific knowledge&attributes - Excellent knowledge on all Laws and especially LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, Employment Law, Retrenchments; - Negotiation skills / Mediation skills - Communication and analytical skills - Understanding of CCMA and Bargaining Council rules – track record of attendance - Driven and motivated with passion for field - Ability to work independently Job Type: Full-time Pay: R15000,00 - R18000,00 per month Application Question(s): 3 - 5 Years experience in Labour Law Degree or Diploma in Labour Law Fluent in Afrikaans and English (other languages will be advantage) Proven track record on case management and CCMA Presentable with own vehicle and license (Must be willing to travel across the country) Application Deadline: 2024/05/31 #J-18808-Ljbffr
