The individualwill play a crucial role in planning, coordinating and managing thedelivery and releases of our software solutions. The role involves directcommunication and collaboration with all our tech and business teamsduring the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure all nominateditems are delivered on time, meet the required quality expectationsand ensure the production environment remains stable andoperational throughout, promoting high levels of user adoption. Ourgoal as a Technology & Digital Transformation team is to executeregular, iterative, and valuable technology improvements and thedelivery manager forms a pivotal part in achieving this objective.On a practical level, this role involves:• Planning releases based on capacity and extent of work. Ensuringreleases can be delivered within desired timelines. Includingimproving the release planning process where deficiencies areidentified.• Coordinating & managing release activities, blockers and milestones between various tech team as well as business teamstakeholders, once development has started.• Validating release readiness based on outcome of manual andautomated test suites, including oversight of the risk assessmentdone to ensure no significant bugs or unstableness is introducedinto the production environment.• Identify the risks that can delay releases and manage them: ensuring that the scheduled objectives are still met with highquality.• Lead the go-live activities to deploy the software successfully:schedule and coordinate user notification and training ofreleases.• Analysing system health based on reported problems andrecommending and implementing improvements to overall systemstability and user experience.SKILL SET AND DESIRED COMPETENCIES• Critical thinking• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and makeinformed decisions• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identifyinconsistencies and flaws• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments• Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process• Good understanding of application infrastructure, systemarchitecture, and operating systemsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• B.Eng., B.Sc. in Engineering or similar, Computer Sciences,Information Systems, Business management or any other relateddegree• Excellent academic record• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in delivery management (orsimilar)#J-18808-Ljbffr
