As a Hospital KAM, you will develop and implement the sales strategies for the State and Private Hospitals segments in alignment with ANI strategic objectives (NS / MARGIN>N), and to manage the stakeholder relationships on an ongoing basis. What you will do: Responsible for achieving strategic objectives for the State Hospital and Private Hospital Group channels i.e., NTS / Profit Targets. Efficient management of customer negotiations in relation to Contracts and Tenders. Implementation and ongoing management of the Tender/Formulary/Ranking per Hospital segment Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies: Creating and executing sales plans to achieve revenue targets, focusing on acquiring and retaining key accounts within the private and state hospital sectors. Building and Maintaining Relationships: Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, purchasing managers, and healthcare professionals, to understand their needs and promote the company’s products or services. Product Promotion and Education: Educating hospital staff about the benefits and applications of the company’s nutrition products, organizing product demonstrations, and providing training sessions to ensure proper usage and compliance. Market Analysis and Research: Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and trends within the private and public hospital sectors, staying updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with hospital clients, ensuring favorable terms while maximizing profitability and long-term partnerships. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to address customer needs, resolve issues, and capitalize on market opportunities effectively. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE: Education : Tertiary qualification in Dietetics is preferred, however any Health Sciences qualification will be considered Additional, Marketing qualification/IMM/Commercial qualification is an advantage. Expertise and Competencies: 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales, Trade Marketing/Key Accounts Management on a national level Understanding of the South African State and Private Hospitals landscape. Experience in a Hospital, Pharma or OTC environments Analytical - ability to analyze data and gain actionable insights. High commercial acumen. Excellent Presentation Skills Negotiation Skills.
