PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To manage, optimise and coordinate HR policy development, change management, performance management and organisational design initiatives. In addition, the incumbent oversees external HR service providers, enables HR strategy implementation, and supervises and coordinates related HR administration. Please note that this is an EXPAT role based on FLYIN/ FLYOUT BASIS in CENTRAL Africa QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree in HR 5 - 7 years' relevant experience in Human Resources in the Mining industry Organizational Development Experience Must be fluent in English Mandarin, and or French are advantageous Must have OD Experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Process: Manage, optimise and coordinate HR initiatives Enable HR and Business Strategy implementation Optimise Human Resources policy development and implementation Develop and embed Change Management practices Champion Organisational Design initiatives Oversee Performance Management best practices Function as a subject matter expert and coordinate the provision of administrative support. Manage relationships with stakeholders to enable optimisation of the business value chain Coordinate, monitor and supervise the performance of direct reports Monitor budget as per Delegation of Authority Matrix. Support the Transformation agenda Adhere to and improve reporting processes for the area of responsibility KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS HR related mining industry legislation Employment law and contracts Company strategic imperatives and the HR strategy Change Management Sound understanding of HR knowledge areas (technical and contextual) and best practices HR Administration Performance Management Contractor Management Organisational design #J-18808-Ljbffr
