Position: Junior Quantity SurveyorHire Resolves client is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and a passion for the construction industry.Responsibilities:Assist senior quantity surveyors in preparing cost estimates for construction projectsConduct site visits to assess project progress and identify any potential cost variationsPrepare and submit progress payment applications to clientsAssist in the preparation of final accounts and variations for projectsCollaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost tracking and reportingUtilise quantity surveying software to generate accurate cost reports and estimatesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost estimatingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentThis is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to gain valuable experience and grow in their career.
