Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking To drive the implementation of risk execution frameworks and standards for an allocated portfolio within PPB (e.g., branches,Onboarding and Entrenchment, etc.) to ensure adherence to key, critical risk, compliance and regulatory controls.Assess and perform physical sample testing on key critical risk, compliance and regulatory controls.Focus on detecting gaps, emerging risks, breaches and trends in the daily execution of the risk and control monitoring.Conduct effectiveness assessments, operational effectiveness testing and control effectiveness assessments and providefeedback where required.Ensure operational capability in frontline (e.g., routine checks are conducted) and drive adoption and usage of management tools(e.g., OFV, scan at source, e-signatures, auto-recon, etc.).Monitor alignment to regulatory requirements (e.g., RCSA, RMP, KYC/EDD, TCF, PoPI, Data Privacy, FAIS, COBP, OHASA,etc.); DOAs, etc.Provide analysis and reporting and recommends remediation where required (e.g., revenue leakage, losses, Control 1st, OFV,Auto Recon, AML reviews, Market Conduct, Fraud trends, CRC, etc.)Ensure proper record keeping (e.g., FAIS, FICA).Ensure operational excellence in testing embedment of SOP (standard operating procedures) and GRG (Group ReferenceGuide)Provide implementation support for risk frameworks (e.g., CPA, RCSA, etc). Identify gaps and remediate compliance measures(Regulatory and Operational risk) and implement suitable solutions.Provide input into monthly RCC / Risk Focus for BU positioning and presentation.Analyse and provide actionable quality management feedback to the relevant stakeholders within the agreed turnaround times tocommunicate trends, gaps, findings, recommendations, and all other agreed reporting requirements.Ensure correct reporting of any operational threshold breaches (e.g., Document management / Incident Management Reporting /KYC reports, losses, information breaches etc.).Obtain finance data on a weekly basis to confirm that the origination processes are managed as per the laid down procedures.Track and monitor progress in closing out findings from Assurance Reviews and audits completed by NFR, Compliancemonitoring and Group Internal Audit (GIA) and Security.Sample and report on monthly checks performed by OHS reps / First Aiders / Fire fighters / etc. in ensuring that process isembedded. Verifies that incident reporting is correctly dealt and attended within set framework.Perform monthly and quarterly reviews on BCM Resilience Plan for allocated portfolio. Report and ensure measurement andcontrols are in place to support business continuity. Ensure BIAs and continuity plans are checked to confirm accuracy andwhere controls fail, report it to ensure that remedial plans are put in place.Monitor LAM invalid and dormant accounts to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Qualifications Minimum QualificationsType of Qualification: Diploma in BankingExperience RequiredClient CoveragePersonal and Private Banking5-7 years Experience in regulatory and risk requirements within PPB. Experience in branchbanking and local market matters.
