Send an email about this job to a friend or to yourself. Large group dealing within the mining industry has an opportunity for a Senior Software Electrical Engineer. Candidate must have previous experience withing this environment. Eligible for registration as Pr.Tech.Eng. B.Eng. Electrical / BSc Electrical Engineering. (Preferable, but not mandatory) Eligible for registration as Pr.Eng. (Preferable but not mandatory) 2-3 years working experience on mine Equipment. Calculate/specifying equipment/equipment ratings for long lead items. Detailed software design for PLC’s, HMI’s and other high level programmable devices. Participate in internal and customer design reviews. Assist in compilation of the Operational and Maintenance manuals. Offer technical support to the Production department. Training employees in the Production department. Training employees in the Testing department. Provide assistance during factory testing. Perform functional testing during factory testing. Facilitate customer factory acceptance testing. Offer technical support to the Services department.
